July 3rd ~ Added 2 new soaps to the Soaps page,  Silver and Lavish.



July 3rd ~ Added 6 new fragrances to our line up.  Check them out on any of the product pages.



June 25th ~ We are in the process of improving our line-up of soaps, so we are having a Close-out Sale. We have 2 kinds of soaps left on the sale, so be sure to get them while you can, because they are going fast. We will be replacing them with 6 other soaps around the beginning of August (depending on when the closeout soaps are gone).



June 25th ~ We have added 3 sections to the website, for "Goat's at the Gate." It has the basics on raising goats and our own personal experiences with goats. We have also added the Calendar & Happenings, which has a list of events in which we are a vendor. It also has the latest happenings for BCS and the information on any new products we carry.

Welcome to Buttercup Soaps ~ Home of handmade goat's milk soaps and bath & body products.

Here at BCS we strive to help you, the customer. The goal of our site is to bring you the products you love, and to help you at the same time. The reason you came to this site was to find products that were gentle for your skin, yet tough enough to rid your body of the daily dirt and grime. We kept this in mind when creating our products and most of them show it by being mostly natural. We do have all natural products as well, so please contact us if you have questions concerning this. We don't add things that are unnecessary for your skin, such as whiteners, dyes, detergents, glycerin, alcohols, or preservatives. That being said, please don't add to or change our products, because they are formulated in such a manner that is the best for that product and may expire sooner if altered. All of our products are made from scratch with our own recipes, so we are able to formulate for you. If you have a special skin need or have problems that need addressed, please contact us and let us know so we can help your skin begin the healing process. Goat's milk is used in our soaps due to it's pH balance being very close to humans pH and the moisturizing benefits found in it. It also contains natural alpha-hydroxy acids that help rejuvenate the skin.


This is a picture of our shop, where we make our products, and it is also our local store here in Wilder, Idaho. We built this building with you in mind, so you can be sure to get the best quality products available, without the worry of wondering where it is being made. (For example, in a closet, or a garage, or who knows where else!!!)

We are open to the public, not by appointment only, on Wednesdays thru Saturdays from 10am till 4pm except for days that we have vending events, which the store will be closed on those days.  Please call to make an appointment for any other time that would be convenient for you.
